Writers in Oregon, Washington or Idaho may enter the2011 Rising Star Writing Competition. Sponsored by the Nature of Words, the competition is open to writers in three categories: 15-18, 19-25 and over 25. Your short story, literary nonfiction or nature essay should be no more than 3000 words.  The deadline for entries is June 11, 2011.
