Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.” -Christopher Morley

In the wake of the success of their digital-first Loveswept imprint for romance and women’s fiction, Random House is launching three new genre-specific, digital original imprints:

Hydra — Science fiction and fantasy

Alibi — Mystery and Suspense

Flirt— New Adult

Both agented and unagented authors are welcome to submit to these new lines. Editors are looking for novellas (15,000 – 30,000 words) as well as full-length books (40,000 to 60,000 words.) They will consider previously-published works, as long as you own all the publishing rights. Submit your query using the online form; you can expect to hear from editors in two to four weeks. Find all the details here.

Entangled Dead Sexy is now Entangled Suspense. The editors are interested in a wide range of stories, with an emphasis on romance and all tones from dark and sexy to light-hearted. Find out more here.
