Crime stories, cozies, capers, suspense, and soft-boiled mysteries are all welcome. Stories should be between 2,000 and 3,500 words and previously unpublished. Keep it clean — think PG ratings. Cosmopolitan Magazine is looking for a fiction writer to engage readers with an ongoing story on the  magazine’s Bedroom Blog. The writer would create two 500-word blog posts — essentially, installments in an ongoing story — each week, as well as three tweets a day. Payment is $600 a month for one year. Pelican Book Group is launching a new line of Christian New Adult romances. The line, to be called Pelican Pure Amore, is open for a limited time to unagented authors, who may submit their work via an online submission form. Editors are looking for sweet romances featuring characters ages 21 and 33.
